Can I make a claim if my travel destination is added to the UK government RED list after I make my booking but before I travel?


Our travel insurance policies will not provide cover for cancellation or quarantine costs incurred by your destination being added to the UK government RED list.


You should contact your transport and accommodation providers, and any other companies with which you have booked or intend to book services, to establish your legal rights and any additional support they’re offering.


Most travel insurance policies currently available on the market have exclusions for travel disruption claims caused by COVID-19, but we continue to cover necessary trip cancellation due to you, or someone you are travelling with, catching COVID-19.
