Ski Resort Info
Tremblant is a resort famous for its natural beauty and French charm and it consistently voted the best Eastern North American resort. The pedestrianized village is waiting for you at the base of the mountain so much of the accommodation is ski in and out. In line with the French charm you will find a good choice of boutiques and cuisine. The un-crowded runs make it a popular choice with families despite low temperatures.
The Ski Slopes
There are 4 main ski areas on both sides of the mountain offering a variety of runs, all expertly groomed to be in pristine condition. There is a dedicated beginner’s area where beginners can learn to ski competently before starting to explore the other runs on offer. Intermediates will find great runs on both the North and South sides with runs through the trees for the more daring as well as the long groomed pistes. Advanced skiers have plenty of choice with just under half of the runs being classified as black. The modern and fast lifts link the runs together effortlessly and cope well with the crowds. The resort also houses one of the largest snowboarding areas and the biggest halfpipe in Canada, so boarders are more than catered for. p>
